Traveling West on I-40:

• Take the Gorman Street exit (#295).
  
• Turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp.
  
• Stay on Gormon Street until you reach the intersection with Hillsborough Street.
  
• Turn right at the light onto Hillsborough Street. (There is a BP gas station at this intersection.)
  
• Stay on Hillsborough Street until you reach the intersection with Friendly Drive.
  
• Turn right onto Friendly Drive.
  
• UT is on your left.

Traveling East on I-40:

• Take the Wade Avenue exit (#289).
  
• The exit ramp becomes Wade Avenue. Stay on Wade Avenue until you come to the intersection with Dixie Trail (fourth stop light).
  
• Turn right at the light onto Dixie Trail.
  
• Stay on Dixie Trail until you reach the intersection with Hillsborough Street.
  
• Cross Hillsborough Street and look for UT on your left (just past the Johnson-Paschal Floral Company).

Traffic and Parking Tips
You’ll want to avoid traveling through the NCSU campus because of on-campus traffic. Also, please remember not to park in Reserved or Handicapped spaces or in the Fire Lanes at UT. When you check in with the front desk, you will be given a pass to park in our visitor area.
